Firefighters pulled off a dramatic rescue using specialist cutting equipment ... to free a trapped FERRET.
Crews from Daventry let loose the furry rodent, called Lilly, after her worried owner took her along to the local fire station on Wednesday night.

Hide AdIt took a couple of quick snips of the wire and about three minutes to cut her out.
Earlier this month, another crew from Daventry plucked a duckling to safety after it got stuck in a drain in Towcester while Corby hamster, Tammy, was reunited with her seven-year-old owner after firefighters used thermal imaging equipment to find her behind some skirting board.
And in January a terrified iguana took the quickest way out of a smoke-filled house in Corby by jumping on a firefighter's head.
