New arts and crafts sale comes to Daventry
A new monthly arts and crafts sale opened its doors in Daventry on Saturday.
The sale attracted more than 20 different stalls, and will take place on the first Saturday of the month at the Foundry Place Rooms in the town centre from 11am to 3pm.
Organiser Deana Towersey (pictured centre) said: “I do arts and crafts myself, making presents for new parents and babies, and I found it was really difficult to find places to sell in the local area.

Hide Ad“There are not many opportunities to showcase your work, and for many of these people opening a shop is not an option due to rents and business rates. That’s why I thought a monthly event like this would be a good idea.”
