AN EVENING featuring the music of Sinatra and Buble will take place in Daventry to raise money for the Gemma Jones Fund.
The fund, as featured in last week’s Daventry Express, was set up by Gemma Jones’ family after she died suddenly in March last year from viral myocarditis. Gemma’s death came just months before she was due to marry her partner of five years and 18 months after the birth of her son, Harry.
The fund will raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The music night will be on Saturday, August 10 at The Hideout Coffee Shop in Sheaf Street. Tickets cost £10 and there are only 50 tickets available. Ten per cent of monies raised will go to the fund.
Gemma’s family will be holding a charity fun day on August 24 at the Nene Hall in Daventry. A table top sale, raffle, silent auction hook-a-duck, face painting, bouncy castle and more will be available from 12pm until 4pm.
