DAVENTRY’S MP became the 10,000th person to sign our DACT petition, as one final push for signatures is made.

On Thursday next week (December 8) Northamptonshire County Council will decide whether to cut the charity’s £31,000 grant.

If funds are cut then DACT, which offers elderly and disabled people lifts to vital appointments, may have to reduce services.

Chris Heaton Harris MP said: “I can tell how important this service is by the number of people who have written to me telling me about it and why they are supporting it.”
