Missing Daventry woman found safe and well after search across three counties

A Daventry woman has been found safe and well after a massive search operation involving teams from three counties.

Police last night confirmed the 35-year-old was located "cold and confused" late on Sunday afternoon, more than 24 hours after she went missing from her home in the town.

Officers had previously admitted they were "extremely concerned" for her welfare.

Search and rescue teams from Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire were involved in then hunt alongside police officers from Kettering Response and Norhamptonshire Road Crime teams.

A Police helicopter also joined in the search providing aerial support over Daventry.
