The winner has been announced in a Christmas competition run by the Daventry Express.
The Gusher teamed up with Skylark Fields Farm based in Staverton to name two of Santa’s trusty reindeer who recently arrived.
We asked our younger readers to come up with the names suggestions and it was won by nine-year-old Meadow Wilson, who lives in Staverton.
Meadow, who named the reindeer Sparky and Twinkletoes, said: “I was really excited when I heard I’d won the competition. I have never won anything before.
“I am looking forward to meeting Santa.”
Meadow, who goes to Staverton Primary School, got the chance to have her photograph taken with the two reindeer on Tuesday.
She also wins a complimentary tour of Santa’s Grotto and a framed picture of her with Sparky and Twinkletoes.
Her mother, Lindsey Adkins, said: “Meadow has been really excited ever since she heard she was won the competition. She couldn’t wait to meet them.”
The farm which runs as a shop and a restaurant took receipt of the two male deer last month.
They are both 18 months old and are currently settling into their home ahead of being unveiled to the public in time for the run up to Christmas.
There was also praise for the wide range of name suggestions which came from the children.
Sam Thomas, one of the owners of the farm and who judged the competition, said: “We really thought that it had to be something Christmassy that won.
“There were some great names suggested, a lot of people came up with Ant and Dec –for Antlers and Decorations – which we thought was really clever too.
“Picking the winner was a hard task.”
