Mayor of Daventry charity event to feature live music and auction

The Mayor of Daventry will hold an evening of music and entertainment in support of her chosen charity later this month.

Councillor Glenda Simmonds has invited the JuditSingers, a Daventry based choir, to perform at the Holy Cross Church on Saturday March 25, where a charity auction will also take place.

Prizes to be won include dinner for two at the Flore Holiday Inn, dinner for two at the White Horse in Welton, a bottle of champagne, a Nitro Racing motorbike helmet, a signed Northampton Town FC boot, and a family ticket to a Cobblers game.

The event, hosted by BBC Radio Northampton’s Martin Heath, will start at 7pm and tickets are priced at £5 and are available from Daventry Town Council on New Street.

The mayor is raising funds for Macmillan Daventry.
