A WOMAN had a knife held to her throat during an early morning village attack.
The 22-year-old had been dropped off in The Ashway, Brixworth, at some point between 1.50am and 2.15am on Thursday, February 10.
As she entered Far Brook she was aware of a man behind her. He then put his right arm around her front and, holding her left shoulder with his hand, held a knife to her throat on the left side of her neck.
The man threatened he would kill her but then ran off.
The offender is described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall and of medium build. He had a very pale complexion and was wearing a grey hoodie, dark jeans and dirty trainers.
The victim described the knife as around 15cm in length and with a silver blade. It was similar to a kitchen knife.
