Man charged after allegedly stealing £250,000 worth of computers from Daventry warehouse

Laptops and tablets worth £250,000 were recovered by police after they were allegedly stolen from a Daventry warehouse.

The Daventry unit of Northamptonshire Police's response team arrested a man after a break-in at a five-storey warehouse in Drayton Fields.

Officers found the man hiding in the warehouse in the early hours of Monday morning.

After searching a nearby woodland, they recovered electrical goods.

A man has been charged with burglary and will appear in court in January.
