Man arrested after £400k worth of drugs found at Daventry address

A 42-year-old Daventry man has been arrested after £400,000 worth of Class A and B drugs were found in a police raid.

On Wednesday (September 12), officers from Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police conducted an operation at an address in Daventry.

A quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs - thought to be worth an estimated value of £400,000 - was seized from the property.

The Daventry man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

He remains in police custody at this time.

The operation was carried out as part of Warwickshire Police and West Mercia's new Protect campaign, which is being run alongside a range of partner agencies to tackle serious and organised crime (SOC).
