The family of two-year-old Jago Worrall brought the toddler home permanently at the weekend.
It is the first time since March 2012 that Jago is living at home.
He was left with severe brain injuries following an accident at the family home in Welton where he nearly drowned. His parents Barney and Lyn wanted to bring him back home to aid his recovery while still giving him the necessary care and treatment.
Mrs Worrall said: “For all of us to be back together and at home, can only be a positive thing. A big thank you to the staff at Tadworth who have looked after him, they have been incredible.”
