Daventry & District Housing (DDH) will be running a day of free drop in IT advice sessions for local residents on Thursday, October 16.
The advice sessions , which will take place at the Community Hub on Hawke Road, Daventry from 11am aim to help people improve their computer skills, provide advice and support as well as help using new job searching software.
The workshop will be run with the help of DDH ‘digital champions’, who can sign up residents in need of help to a series of regular one-on-one sessions.
Sarah Sims, Community Development Officer at DDH, said: “These drop in sessions, as well as those offered by our digital champions, give people a chance to learn the basic skills, develop what they know already and discover the many different things they can use the internet for.
“I would encourage people to come along, meet our friendly digital champions and find out how we can help.”
