The team embarked on the challenge to raise money and also increase awareness of the Fit4Life day – an initiative used in conjunction with AXA PPP to encourage colleagues to live a healthier lifestyle.
Paul Driver, branch manager at Jewson Northampton, said: “We did a charity walk last year and the benefits of sticking to the Fit4Life Day were clear to see this time around! We’re all pleased to have raised so much money for Macmillan.”
The team was accompanied by two representatives from Jewson supplier partner, Grono, who brought with them an artificial grass display of the word ‘Macmillan’, which the team displayed at the summit.
