Help with choices after GCSE results from Northampton College
Exam results are out on Thursday and thousands of students across Northamptonshire will be facing up to some of the biggest questions of their life, such as whether to continue studying for A-levels, taking on an apprenticeship or
learning a new skill to prepare them for the world of work.
Drop-in sessions have been arranged at Northampton College’s Booth Lane and Lower Mounts sites to give people the chance to discuss their options and find out more about courses which may be suitable for them.

“We know just how confusing making big decisions about your future can be but our team is on hand to help. These sessions will help students decide whether to stay on at school to do A-levels or a more specialised study programme at college. There’s also a range of apprenticeship programmes available, giving people the chance to earn a wage while developing their skills.
“There is always a way to get the qualifications you need and we still have plenty of places left on exciting courses and apprenticeships starting this September that could change your life. You’ll receive great one-to-one advice and see first-hand what we can offer.”
Advice and guidance sessions will run from Thursday, August 27 to Thursday, September 3.
