Daventry and District Housing (DDH) is giving residents the chance to start their own businesses.
DDH is working with South Northants Homes to offer people in both districts a new scheme called Strive.
It is delivered by The Enterprise CUBE and is a business start up course aimed specifically at tenants who would like to work for themselves, but also helps those who have started their business and need a helping hand to ensure it is a success.
DDH community and partnership manager, Ciara McMillan, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity which will support both individuals and the local community. It is great to be able to offer them expertise and knowledge that can get their businesses up and running, no matter how big or small it may be.
“It is also brilliant to be able to continue building our relationship with SNH and work together on something that will be rewarding for everyone who takes part.”
The Enterprise CUBE is a social enterprise set up to work to help disadvantaged people, particularly the unemployed, to use their skills and passion to start their own businesses or social enterprise ventures.
