Help for Daventry youngsters trying to find jobs

TEENAGERS looking for jobs can attend an advice centre at Daventry College

Connexions Northamptonshire is providing impartial information, advice and guidance to young people aged 16 to 19 across the county who are not in education, employment or training.

A dedicated team of advisers are working to support young people to find work or training opportunities. Youngsters can drop-in to see an adviser at one of the job clubs that are already running across the county.

In Daventry advice is available at Northampton College on Badby Road West every Monday between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Team leader Matt Croxon said: “Advisers are supporting existing job clubs across the county to reach young people who are unemployed and need help.

“They provide one-to-one advice to help young people find job or training opportunities and provide support with the application and interview process.

“We also provide support to those claiming benefits and a countywide telephone and email service.” Call 0800 7313219 for more details.
