Daventry residents are being invited to have their say on proposed changes to the planning application process.
Daventry District Council is consulting on the ‘local requirements’ for planning applications – this is a list of certain information that people have to provide to the council in order for their planning application to be registered.
The requirements are reviewed every two years and the information has recently been revised to take into account new legislation, changes to planning policy, and to ensure that applicants are asked for information relating to the size and complexity of the planning application.
The consultation runs until 4.30pm on Friday, August 14. People can view and comment on the proposals at www.daventrydc.gov.uk/consultation.
Comments can be made either online or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, write to Keith Thursfield, development control manager, Daventry District Council, Lodge Road, Daventry, NN11 4FP.
