Have your say at town meeting

People living in the town will be able to have their say on issues affecting them at an annual town meeting to be held next week.

The meeting, held every year by Daventry Town Council, is at DaventryCommunity Centre, Ashby Road on Tuesday, July 1.

The meeting will be mostly made up of an open forum where members of the public will be able to ask questions and raise concerns about issues in the town. It will be a chance for people to set the agenda for what will be discussed.

Also on the agenda is a report from Cllr Ron Fox, the current mayor of Daventry, talking about what has been achieved throughout the past year.

There will also be reports from the chairman of the various committees that are part of Daventry Town Council. They will also talk about what they have been doing for the past year.

The meeting starts at 7pm. Refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome to attend.
