Police are warning people to be vigilant after a large number of hammer drills were stolen from a warehouse on the A45, which were destined for Homebase stores.

They are Stanley FatMax 18v lithium hammer drills, model number: FMC620LB. They were stolen over the weekend of Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 December.

While the drills were stolen from outside the Daventry district, police are warning people in the area to be vigilant.

The drills normally retail at about £150 each and we are warning people that if they are offered one for less, it could be stolen and they should contact police.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
