Group brushes up for exhibition

Napton Art Group is getting ready for an exhibition that will be taking place this weekend.

It comes to Napton Village Hall on both Saturday and Sunday running from 10am to 5pm. There will be paintings from members of the group will be on sale as long as crafts and produce.

Refreshments including homemade teas and cakes will be served. Homemade soup and toasties are also available for lunch at the exhibition.

The group has also recently presented an award for the Best in show at its Easter exhibition. The winner was Jean Terry, who was presented with a turned ash fruit bowl, created by member Bill Buckler in memory of founder member Joan Eadon.
