YOUNGSTERS got creative with a big pile of junk at Daventry Library this week.
The four to 12-year-olds made a range of objects during the half-term fun day on Tuesday.
Children and family librarian Lucie Wheatcroft said: “The afternoon went really well and was really good fun.
“We had 17 children come along and they all made lots of different things.
“Two of the children made massive robots and others made things like aeroplanes and circus ringmasters.
“They were all very creative and enjoyed using all the different materials we had here.
“All I did was put a load of junk on the floor and let them get on with making whatever they wanted.”
