Christmas has arrived at the Daventry branch of the Salvation Army charity shop.
Shoppers have the chance to get their hands on stock that has been saved up for the festive season.
Customers are being treated to a host of gifts, toys, books, decorations and clothing that eagle-eyed volunteers and staff have cherry-picked from items donated over the last 12 months and saved up especially for Christmas.
Also on sale will be Salvation Army tea-themed gifts, unique Christmas decorations as well as a variety of charity Christmas cards.
Elaine Sanderson, area manager for Salvation Army Trading Company, said: “The Daventry shop has gone to town on its Christmas displays and there are some wonderful gems to be found. We find Christmas themed donations and decorations are often nearly brand new, so whether it’s a set of mix-and-match baubles, a Christmas jumper, or even a reindeer onesie, there will be something for everyone!”
She said Christmas can be expensive for some.
Elaine added: “By spending a little with us you could find your perfect presents while helping The Salvation Army make a big difference to people’s lives.”
