People who saddle up for Daventry’s Cycle for Myton on June 28 will walk away with goody bags from the day.

Leisure Lakes Bikes will provide mechanical support on the day and goody bags for every rider. It already supports the local organisation arranging the day – Daventry Cycling Club. Entry is from £8 to £12, with every penny going to this year’s chosen charity, The Myton Hospices. Riders can choose from a 106km or 50km route.

A 20km route is also on offer for families and beginner cyclists.

Leisure Lakes spokesman James Golding said: “We are very keen to support this event, a real ‘first’ for Daventry.”
