A CRACKING free egg hunt is taking place on Easter Sunday morning at Daventry Country Park.
There will be hundreds of eggs for youngsters to seek out at the park, along with an Easter bonnet parade.
The event is being organised by Daventry District Council and the Friends of Daventry Country Park with support from Tremayne and Belcher estate agents, the Daventry Express and Daventry Town Council.
To take part, just bring along one coupon per child from the Daventry Express (April 14 or 21 edition) or pick up a paper at the park’s Visitors’ Centre on Sunday morning.
Registration, at the Country Park Visitors’ Centre, starts at 9am.
The under-threes’ hunt kicks off at 9.30am, then 10am for the three to five year olds, and 10.45am for the five to seven-year-olds, followed by the announcement of the winner of the bonnet contest.
