THE tastes of the continent will be on hand in Daventry as the town hosts a European market.
The market will take place at Sheaf Street on Thursday May 12 and Friday May 13.
Professional continental market traders from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland and Poland will be selling high quality produce such as Brittany biscuits, olives, Swedish cider, Italian nougat, pungent cheeses, fresh breads and croissants and much more.
There will also be a wide range of non-consumable goods for sale including handbags and leather items, Marseille soaps, lavender, children toys and pashminas.
The market traders will also be dressed in traditional costumes worn 100 years ago while the stalls will be decorated to represent their country of origin and it is designed to give people a true flavour of the continent.
