Voluntary and community groups across Daventry district can find out about the latest local funding and support opportunities at an event this month.
Hosted by Daventry District Council and Daventry Volunteer Centre, the Funding Fair will take place at the iCon centre in Daventry between 2pm and 4pm on Wednesday, April 22.
Showcasing the range of support available to groups and organisations in Daventry district, the free event will feature presentations on a new funding stream for parish councils and how to write a successful grant application. There will also be a chance to learn how one local group successfully raised more than £40,000 for their community project.
The event will also feature funding information stalls for a number of organisations, free refreshments and a prize draw giving one chance to win £250.
Carella Davies, Daventry Volunteer Centre manager, said: “This is a very good opportunity for a diverse range of organisations to talk about the various ways they can find funding, as well as sharing success stories and good practice.
“Previous Funding Fairs have helped a number of community groups successfully apply for grants to support their work and we hope even more groups will benefit this time around.”
