Flasher strikes on Daventry footpath

A pervert exposed himself to a pensioner and her friend as they were walking along an old railway path in Daventry.

The flasher struck between 10.30am and 10.45am, on Wednesday, February 27.

A 69-year-old woman and her friend were walking in the direction of the country park, beyond the cemetery but before the wooden footbridge, when a man walking from Ashby Fields walked past and exposed himself.

He was white man, aged about 25, with short dark hair and stubble and was wearing a short grey jacket with the hood down and blue jeans.

Police are hoping to speak to a woman who was walking a black labrador at the time.
