A road traffic accident on Sunday has left five people, including three children, injured.

It happened on Sunday November 30 at about 2.55pm.

A Fiat Brava was travelling from Daventry in the direction of Kilsby on the A361 when, for reasons yet unknown, it left the road and collided with a tree.

All five people in the vehicle, three of them children, were taken to hospital.

Four were taken to University Hospital, Coventry and one, a six-year-old child, was taken to Birmingham Hospital. It is not currently clear how seriously injured any of them are.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have any information regarding it.
