Parents who lost their teenage son to a rare form of meningitis organised a fancy dress Santa Run on Sunday.
Mark Tanton, 14, died three days after contracting Group Y meningitis in September 2010.
The run was the latest in a series of sporting events organised by his parents John and Lesley to raise funds to fight the illness.
It saw hundreds of people dressed in Father Christmas costumes running through both Flore and Nether Heyford.
There was also the chance to win a cash prize for the Santa who caught the Christmas pudding.
A total of £35,000 has been raised by Mark’s parents to fund research in to the disease. A final total for this year’s Santa Run has not yet been announced by the organisers
