Farm set to host music festival

A MUSIC festival is getting ready to rock Daventry next weekend.

Foxhill Farm, just off the A361, will be hosting the Foxhill Music School festival on Saturday, May 28.

The music school aims to give up and coming bands the chance to play in front of a big crowd by providing all the equipment needed.

And the Foxhill team are encouraging anyone who fancies performing at future festivals to get in touch if they would like to know more.

Patrick Guy, who’s arranging the festival, said: “We provide the band and all the equipment, all you have to do is pick a few songs and drop into a rehearsal.”

The event, on May 28 will feature The Black Foxes and guests. There will also be beer and a BBQ with live music from 8pm until midnight.

Camping is also available for those who’d prefer not to drive home.

Tickets are £5 pre-booked or £6 on the door and it’s free to pitch a tent on the grounds of the farm.

Anyone who would like more information about the event or performing or volunteering at a future festival can call Patrick on 07885 240129 or e-mail him at
