The Daventry district will play host to a series of fireworks and bonfire displays taking place next month.
The town itself will be staging a fireworks display at Daventry and District Sports Club while there will also be events at Everdon, Woodford Halse and Ashby St Ledgers, believed to be home to the Gunpowder Plot.
The display, organised by Daventry Town Council, will be taking place on Saturday, November 2 at the club on Western Avenue.
Admission is free with the gates due to open at 6pm. The display is scheduled for 7.30pm.
The fireworks will be supplied by Amazing Fireworks with the whole thing choreographed to music. Refreshments will be available and the sports club will provide a bar.
Donations can be made on the night which go towards the upkeep of the club.
Western Avenue from London Road to Christchurch Drive and Newnham Hill will be closed from 5-9pm.
