A night of art, wine tasting, music and an auction will be taking place at the Evergreen Art Cafe next month in aid of our charity appeal.
The Sheaf Street venue has teamed up with the Daventry Express to support the campaign to raise funds for The Jago Worrall Foundation.
The event will take place between 7pm and 9.30pm on Thursday June 13.
The entertainment includes an exhibition of art by Ryan Hadley and wine tasting in association with Waitrose. Local audio equipment company Audible Fidelity will provide music on the night.
Auction prizes include clothing from Harpers Boutique, flying lessons from Aeros, art classes with leading UK artist Sarah Graham, beauty treatments from The Beauty Spot Daventry alongside spa day for two at Hellidon Lakes and a limited-edition rucksack filled with goodies from The Hobbit movie starring Martin Freeman.
Entrance to the event is free although donations on the door are encouraged. In addition, 10 per cent of any art or audio equipment sold on the night will be donated.
For further information about the event, visit www.evergreenart.co.uk or telephone 01327 878117. For more on the charity visit www.thejagoworrallfoundation.org
In addition to hosting the evening, the cafe’s team will be doing a daredevil sky dive on Monday August 26 in a bid to raise further funds for the foundation. They will be joined by Gusher reporter Gemma Ellis. To sponsor visit www.justgiving.com/jagoworrallfoundationskydive or www.justgiving.com/Gemma-Ellis2.
