A new evening group is being launched in Daventry for new and expectant mums and dads.

It is being run by National Childbirth Trust Daventry & Villages branch and runs the first Wednesday of each mont, fron 7pm-8pm for Bumps and 8pm-9pm for Babies at Dolphin Day Nursery.

Bumps and Babies groups provide relaxed and informal get-togethers.

Ruth Chettle, NCT Daventry & Villages Bumps and Babies co-ordinator, said: “Having a baby is an amazing experience but it can also be quite isolating.

“Coming to this group gives you a reason to get out of the house and socialise with people in your local area who can understand what you’re going through. We’re open to everybody and are always looking for new mums and dads to join.”
