Wind farm decision due to be made

AN APPLICATION for two wind turbines will be discussed at a meeting tonight (Wednesday, November 2).

The plans for the 24.5 metre turbines at Two Hides Farm in Watford will be determined at a meeting of Daventry District Council’s planning committee. The scheme is recommended for approval despite objections from the parish council.

Tesco’s plan to allow them to have deliveries to its New Street store throughout the night will also be determined. One of the conditions of the approval for the store was that no deliveries would take place between midnight and 6am and the supermarket giant is seeking to remove this. This proposal has been recommended for approval.
