A CASH grant scheme is inviting applications in a Dragon’s Den style bidding process.
It has been set up by Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) and is inviting a second round following success last year.
The Community Action Grants initiative will make available single year individual grants of between £10,000 and £20,000 from a funding pot totalling £100,000.
NCC deputy leader Cllr Joan Kirkbride said: “We’ve seen some very positive results because of the grants which have been allocated and they really do make a big difference to people.
“Most of us are familiar with the Dragon’s Den-style process, which is associated with identifying pioneering concepts, and this is the sort of thinking we’re trying to promote.”
The grants are available to any organisation with ideas for a community centred scheme or project and the deadline Friday January 18.
