Staff and customers at The Peacock pub in Long Buckby have helped raise £10,339.14 for the Chemotherapy Refurbishment Appeal at Northampton General Hospital.

David Streatfield, licensee at The Peacock, and Shirley Reeve presented a cheque to the hospital after holding several fundraising events thoughtout the summer. Shirley was also brave enough to do a sky dive for sponsorship.

David and Shirley have both benefitted from treatment at the hospital and continue to be an inspiration to many people in Long Buckby.
