“This notice is a inviting you to a meeting at the clubhouse where we set about creating this new committee to safeguard the club’s future.

“Our aim is to turn the club into a community club and obviously with so many junior teams it is essential to have input from them as well as supporters.

“Before we know it the new season will be upon us and there is so much to be done and need for a proactive and larger committee is paramount.

“We need to attract businesses from the town and new sponsors to enable the success to continue. With the community behind us and everything transparent we will be able move forward, and indeed upwards.

“If you care about a club which has been in existence for 130 years, please attend this meeting.”
