A TOWN infant school has been given a makeover with a difference thanks to two visiting artists who helped to design murals.
Around 20 pupils from St James Infant School worked with Stuart Styles and Stephen White from Hedz Creative Art Design based in Birmingham.
The youngsters did pencil drawings used for the final design by the artists created on Thursday last week.
The idea was from a member of staff who wanted to brighten up the school.
The parent link worker Debbie Tucker said: “I saw a lot of the murals on the underpasses and I wanted to get them in to help brighten up the school.
“The children were really fond of them and they were very impressed by what they created.
“The work was going on in the background while the children were playing and they were really impressed.”
