MOTORISTS are being warned to be on their guard after a spate of vehicle break-ins across the Daventry area.

13 crimes have been reported in the past 11 days and police are asking people to make sure their cars are secured after revealing nine of the victims’ vehicles were left unlocked.

Officers have also urged people to make sure no valuables are left on display after sat navs, jewellery and cash were all stolen during the thefts.
