Daventry dog club hope to take lead in Crufts
The team, from Chance Agility Training, are hoping to take the lead in today’s (Thursday’s) Crufts competition.
Deena Freeman, who works on the main arena for all the agility events over four days, has five border collies aged from ten weeks to 13 years.
She will be joined by Sharon and Cerys, Jess and Skye and James and Loki (reserve).
She said: “We are really excited because this is the first time we have qualified for the team finals.”
“It’s my first time competing with my dog Ginny, who is nine, having previously competed with two of my other dogs.”
Chance Dog Training Centre is dedicated to training dogs in agility, obedience in a purpose built centre.
The club has more than 60 members, from seven - 70+. See next week’s Daventry Express to see how they did.
