There was a traditional British tea party at a day care centre in Daventry to mark the Queen’s birthday.

The Southbrook Community Association’s Happy Faces Day Care celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday with a tea party.

The children all made flags and enjoyed drinking tea out of china cups accompanied by cucumber and ham sandwiches.

The finale was all of the children singing Happy Birthday to the Queen as fireworks sparked on top of a celebration cake followed by singing the national anthem.
