Daventry club hands over charity cash

At Danetre Bridge Club’s recent charity event they £300 for Pete Spencer’s Helping Hands.

This week the club presented the Daventry-based charity with the money.

This charity is well known for its support of local children with serious illnesses and disabilities. It continues to make a real difference to their lives and to that of their families.

Peter Baines, the club’s chairman said: “The combination of an evening of enjoyable bridge, while raising funds for a very worthwhile local charity was a venture that the club should consider again.”
