Daventry-based youth counselling scheme wins £11,000 grants to continue service

The service offers counselling to young people across the Daventry area.

Time2Talk successfully applied to Northamptonshire County Council’s Well Being Fund, managed by the Northamptonshire Community Foundation, and secured £10,000. This will enable the team to continue the delivery of therapeutic adolescent counselling services for young people by helping Time2Talk to maintain its base at The Abbey building in Daventry town centre.

In addition Time2Talk has received £1,000 courtesy of Cllr Adam Collyer via the empowering councillors scheme as a contribution towards delivering counselling sessions.

It also received a donation of £400 from Danetre Rotary Club.

Time2Talk holds its annual fundraising garden party from 2pm to 4pm on August 25 in Flore. Suggested donation is £10. For details contact Time2Talk on 01327 706706.
