Questions on the culture of the Daventry area, and what official support there is for it, will be posed at a Cultural Question Time event.
The event takes place on Thursday July 16 and is open to any member of the public who wants to ask questions, join the debate, or just listen to what’s said.
The Cultural Question Time is part of Daventry Arts Festival 2015.
The event has been organised by Cllr Abigail Campbell, Cllr Catherine Lomax, Cllr Alan Hills, Chris Heaton Harris MP and Sarah Sims from DDH.
Cllr Campbell said: “The aim of this event is to start a conversation about culture and heritage in Daventry district.
“We want to put the spotlight on the great things already here and happening, but also consider what we need to do to differently in order to make sure the District is reaching its full creative potential.
“Our ambition is to hold a two day Cultural Summit in the spring of 2016.”
This is an opportunity for you to raise your questions about culture and heritage in Daventry district or if you prefer to sit back and listen to the discussions.
If you can’t make it in person, questions and comments can be emailed to email@example.com.
On the panel are Chris Heaton Harris MP, Martin Sutherland (Royal & Derngate, Northants Enterprise Partnership), Laura Malpas (National Trust), John Cairns (Arts Council England), and Vicky Martin (Canal & River Trust). The chairman is Martin Heath.
The event runs from 7pm to 9pm at the iCon Centre in Daventry.
