Two men seriously injured after crash on slip road of M1 near Northampton

Two men were seriously injured after a car collided with a lorry on a slip road of the M1 near Northampton.

The collision happened on the northbound exit slip road at junction 15 at about 8.20pm yesterday (Wednesday), when a red Vauxhall Corsa, driven by a 32-year-old man from Northampton, was in collision with a white Renault lorry, driven by a 50-year-old man from Wellingborough.

The Corsa driver and a passenger, a 37-year-old man from Kettering, were taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries.
