Thieves steal £1,000 hen house

A HEN house worth around £1,000 was stolen from Whilton Locks last week.

Police are appealing for information following the theft, which happened overnight on Thursday, February 16.

The Omlet hen house, which is worth approximately £1,000, was stolen from a small holding.

PC Gareth Court said: “We believe more than one person could have been involved in stealing the hen house as it’s an extremely heavy item.

“There is also a strong possibility the offenders would have used a vehicle such as a low loader or van.”

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.

Alternatively information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
