The classic Yamaha RD350 had previously been stolen, but on Sunday was returned to the Jubilee Playing Field in Weedon to its rightful owner to collect.

The bike was left next to a skip in the car park of the as seen in the photo – taken by a passer-by during the afternoon.

The owner was made aware of the bike’s location at 8pm.

Unfortunately, by the time he had arrived at the park the bike had been removed

The owner of the bike said: “It was moved from the location probably by someone who thought it had been abandoned for scrap by the skip.

“The photo shows the very rare and distinctive black, red and grey motorcycle as it was found against the skip at 3pm.

“The bike was seen standing there by many people including many playing football on the field on Sunday morning.”

A reward of £1,000 has been offered for its return to its owner.
