Police appeal after attempted theft
Police are seeking assistance in a bid to find a man suspected of an attempted theft in Haverhill.
The man, believed to be in his early 20’s, is reported to have approached another man in Hardwick Road on Friday, February 12, at around 6pm, grabbed his wrist and demanded money. The victim refused and grabbed the man’s blue, woollen ‘Millwall’ hat off his head. The robber then ran off empty handed. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 8” tall, of average build and was wearing dark clothes. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 reference 37/17441/16.
