Northampton man charged with burglary after stolen goods found hidden under compost bin

A 39-year-old Northampton man was charged in connection with a burglary that took place in Watson Road, Long Buckby yesterday (January 11).

Officers were called to the property at around 1.45am where a wallet and some keys were stolen.

Police then found a suspect in the area shortly after. PD Nala was deployed and she helped to find some of the stolen property, which was concealed under a compost bin.

Scott Foran, 39, of Langham Place, Northampton was charged with burglary in connection with the incident.

He appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (January 12) and was sent for trial to Northampton Crown Court on February 12.

Foran has since been remanded in custody.
