Man assaulted in village pub

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an assault at a village pub.

A 39-year-old man was in a corridor leading to the toilet at The George Inn in Brixworth when an offender hit him in the head. The victim fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

The attack happened on Friday, August 12 at around 7pm

The offender is described as a white man, in his mid 30s, 5ft 10in tall, and of lean build.

He had a shaved head with a strip of longer blonde and purple hair down the centre. He was wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans.
